Wagga Wagga Early Years Learning Centre

Located at 57 Fernleigh Road, Turvey Park and 60 Pinaroo Drive, Glenfield Park Licensed under the Education and Care Services National Regulations

Welcome to the state-of-the-art new premises at Wagga Wagga Early Years Learning Centre (WWEYLC) at 57 Fernleigh Road, Turvey Park and 60 Pinaroo Drive, Glenfield Park

Rooms at WWEYLC are light and airy, and are furnished and equipped with a focus on natural materials. Toys and learning materials encourage exploration, discovery and interaction.

Outdoor spaces continue this theme, with WWEYLC keen to foster an appreciation of the natural environment with an emphasis on sustainability. A vegetable garden, worm farm and recycling allow the children to develop environmental awareness, and provide a base for their ongoing education.

WWEYLC also features an impressive undercover area which provides the children with a great play space, whatever the weather. Age-appropriate, safe, outdoor play equipment includes as a focal point a fabulous boat built by the Wagga Men’s Shed from recycled materials.

Home-cooked meals are created by the WWEYLC cook in the brand-new kitchen on the premises, and menus are planned and updated according to the latest healthy food guidelines. The emphasis of our menu is on whole foods, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, while we encourage and promote a diet low in sugar, salt and saturated fats.

Entering into the world of childcare can be a daunting experience for first-time parents and their child. WWEYLC understands that families need quality childcare services that will support the increasing pressures of balancing work and family requirements – and WWEYLC’s aim is to minimise these pressures by creating a special place that harmoniously meets both parents’ and children’s needs.

The talented team at WWEYLC has many years of experience within the childcare industry and is willing to offer professional advice for the best way to assist a child in separating and settling. You can be confident that the staff have many ways of dealing with these emotional times and have many ideas to redirect and comfort your child.
